I'm back!!

I've been MIA for about 2 weeks or so.  My daughter plays on a National Volleyball team so we had a tournament in Denver, CO.  Her team didn't do as well as we wanted them to but we had alot of fun!! Now I'm back home and doing some spring cleaning!! Yay fun!!  I feel so bad that I have neglected my blog and followers.     I think the best thing I ever found spring cleaning, was an envelope of pictures that I had misplaced (tucked in a book for goodness sakes)that were of my girls when they were little. They were irreplaceable, and I had very sadly reconciled myself to never seeing them again.

    I'm so glad you had fun in Denver. I love it there such great weather during this time of year. So spring cleaning eh. I'm a flybaby so I've been flinging all month. In our linen closet I found 6 YES 6 crib sheet sets. This is so bad on many levels the worst one being I havent had a baby in a crib in over 3 and a half years. YEAH and two some of them were brand new eck. So a local charity was blessed with our linens ;) I hope you had fun cleaning.

    The best item I ever found while spring cleaning was a book of notes, written by my students just before I left teaching. Another teacher had had each student write me a personal message and/or draw a picture as a memento of our year together. While I was going through things during a spring cleaning, I came across the notebook. The timing was perfect as I had just suffered a significant loss in my life and needed something to bring me cheer.

    Spring cleaning?? ummm.. not so much yet.. LOL. But, I'll get there.. maybe for fall cleaning?? lol. However, when I do clean.. I really and truly would like to find a craft project I started along with a cuttlebug plate that I put "away for now" and cannot seem to find where "away" is.. lol. so maybe that's my spring cleaning challenge.. lol.     Hi Anita....Welcome back and thanks for stopping by my blog and letting me know about your giveaway......I will post your giveaway on my blog .....and your blinky....I am also a follower now.....I have been Spring cleaning for a minute now....I think is is neverending...(hehe...)...But I did find loads of SB supplies that I am donating to some of my sisters that also SB....so they will be happy about that ....and I have a couple of boxes of things I will not use that I am donating to a Child care center near me that my DGC use to attend ...I wished I remembered the box yesterday...as I had just dropped off a box of clothes that my DGD outgrew from last summer.....I am sure they will appreciate the items. I also found the old fashioned cassette box that us SBers are now using to house ink pads when I went to Salvation Army to drop off some clothes and shoes that I was not wearing...So I did find something....just not in my house....(hehe...) ....and I was totally elated because I had been looking for one of these for quite some time.....Well, thanks for the chance to win this wonderful cart.....One that I do not yet have.....Yay....

    Welcome Back! Sure wish I knew how you got this blog to glitter like this. And purple on top of it. It's our favorite! Well, we always do spring cleaning, but our favorite product to clean with is by far the roomba. We have used them for years now. They automatically start while we are at work and when we get home, the floors are spotless! They are just wonderful! We actually have three now... one to do carpet and two to do hard floors (don't have much carpet). All you have to do is clean them out when you get home. As far as spring cleaning goes, our steamer is our best friend. No chemicals and it's fantastic on drapes and furniture. Just keep it away from your craft room. Humidity and and expensive paper collection just don't go that well together. Hee! Hee!

    The truth is I don't have a craft room, just a small corner area to place my stuff. So every new holiday or season I clean up and take out a new batch of stuff and I always find something. This time it was some ribbon I forgot I had. My blog is loving scrapper 101.

    I have been doing a little Spring cleaning since I lost my job a couple of weeks ago. The best thing I just found was some VCR tapes that we had recorded when our boys were young. My dad and FIL passed away in 2008 and these tapes had them on it too. It was wonderful to be able to see them on those tapes playing with the boys. My dad always loved the grandkids and on this tape, he was riding a bike with my youngest and the memories made me smile and cry at the same time!

The best thing I ever found while spring cleaning was a film cartridge that hand't been processed and when the pics same back there were photos of my daughter's birthday party - from 5 years back - lots of smiles over that one.     The best thing I found while doing my spring cleaning is a spice rack with the bottles that I will repurpose to hold my skittles I don't have that many so it works for me now!!!

    I bet the VB Tournament was fun even if they didn't do as well as they wanted. VB is always fun!! I can't imagine playing on a national team. Very cool:) Spring cleaning, not as fun!     The best item I found while spring cleaning was my birthstone ring my grandmother gave me when I was a child. I lost it forever ago and a couple of years ago I was cleaning and voila, there it was!

    Great blog candy. I have not started spring cleaning this year, but in past cleaning I have found money in various pieces of clothing as I go through the pockets before sending them to the dry cleaners. My best spring cleaning tool is my micro fiber glass cleaners I got off QVC. Love those cloths! I am a follower.

    This will probably sounds silly, but the best thing I've ever found while spring cleaning was empty space! After 32 years of marriage and 2 children, we moved into the house my husband grew up in. It's a great house, but it came completely equipped. I've had at least 2 of everything, and since my in-laws had lived in this house more than 50 years, there was way more stuff in attics and closets than I could possible describe. Empty space so that I could unpack MY things was wonderful! I loved reading other people's comments about what they have found. It's amazing, isn't it?

    I found some of my brother's superhero t-shirts he used to wear a decade ago :P the best part about it is that I don't even know how they got here! This past summer my parents, my brother and my husband and I all moved so I guess they might have ended up here by mistake but I haven't lived in the same house as him for at least 4 years :P

    Spring cleaning...uuggghhh. We always say it is a necessary evil! lol I started this year with my craft room because it was out of control. I was spending and not creating (out of control). I found tons of duplicate items (of course if I bought it once, why wouldn't I like it again! lol) and gave most all of it away to a friend who has just recently started crafting! It was a win win situation! Love your site!

I must tell you, I have a lifelong disorder that has no cure as of yet and I'd have to say that this years spring cleaning has allowed me to find an inner-peace and an inner-strength I know longer thought I possessed. There's been so much going on within my family and within my body already this year, I just feel like giving up most days.     I just purchased my cricut a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. I have scrapped for awhile so the cricut just adds to all the fun. I find it hard to walk away when I start scrapping. But I know there are things that need to be done so I prioritize to get them done and still have time to scrap with my cricut. I've just started my spring cleaning and was surprised to find a box of scrapbooking supplies in my closet! Needless to say I was so excited I just had to set down and go through them to see all the goodies I had stored. I would love to have the spring cartridge!

    I have'nt spring cleaned yet.
    My Mom & I are new to the cricut. We just bought it last month. We love it. don't have a lot of cartridges yet. I would love to have this one. Now a follower! : )

    I am a new follower and I would say that finding some of my girls baby clothes that they out grew would be some of the best things I have found. I just love remembering when they were babies but then my heart hurts a little when I realize that they are growing up and way to fast. Thanks for the chance to win.

    Not Spring cleaning but the most important thing I've found was my diamond out of my wedding ring. Thought I lost it at a doctor's office. Opened a chest a few months after losing it to grab a handbag and it fell out onto the floor. Don't think I was cleaning then, either. But, would love to win the cartridge.
